In the past Lit. did not appreciate massive file down loaders being used to download stories not to bring up the possible legalities that I have no ideal about.

Things might have changed over the years...I do not know...

I have my stores in another forum also. Tried to copy to add them here as stories. That didn't work.

I agree, I believe it's not legal.

i used to print them off, format and read them, when i could steal the time. every once in a while, i find a page or two stuffed in a box or drawer.

if your tablet is android there's an app for that: http://literotica.com/android/

if your tablet is windows , i just save them from browser (ctrl+s or file + save as) in my docs then read them offline/airplane mode.

we really need some TLC on windows for reading offline, its work to save the multitude of pages one by one for every chapter of the story.

anyway, i hope this helped you out.

The Android app can load 11 stories at a time. I typically find an author I like, then click through their catalog by tens. That's the best way I know to stack stories for future offline reading.

If on a PC, you can do the following:
1. Download Balabolka and install text-to-speech reader. It's free and not ad supported.
2. Open Balabolka.
3. Open your browser and located a story on Literotica.
4. Click in the browser and select all text by clicking CTL+C. This will paste the text automatically into Balabolka.
5. For multiple page stories, go back to the browser and click the next page of the story.
6 Select all the text below the story header all the way down the page to just before the page numbers begin or comments are.

Example Page Header:

7. Hit CTL-C. If you did it correctly, the story text on the next pages will be automatically highlighted when you navigate to them and you will only need to hit CTL-C on each page. If you didn't, when you click CTL+C, the page header will be copied with every page and have to be manually deleted in Balabolka.

8. To clean up the finished story in Balabolka, on the first line, go the end of the title and add a space and the word "By" then another space.

9. Select from there down to the second instance of the author's name (See above) and hit delete. Example:

"THE PIG LOVER By MaconBacon"

10. To change the capitalization of the first line (Title and authors name) Select the entire line, hit CTL+SHFT+T. The result will look like this: "The Pig Lovers By MaconBacon"

11. Then Click "File", "Save As". The file name will be saved in the following format: [Title] By [Author].txt Example: "The Pig Lovers By MaconBacon.txt" The reason for doing so is to avoid the issue of caused by two files with the same name but different authors.

This may seem a bit complicated but after a couple of times will seem very easy.

I also copy/paste into a specifically formatted docx file so that I can read them on my phone with the e-reader functionality of my word processor. Very convenient.

i use the android APP on my tablet its not prefect but it works you can save about 10 stories on tablet

Man oh man, you people don't even read the OP's post....

Copy and paste is the only way... it's a pain in the ass as you can only do them a page at a time but I would guess that's so it's not easy... otherwise our stuff would be posted all over the place. I have done this in the past so I could read them on my tablet when I too had spotting internet connections using an eReader on my tablet.

do a print and when the print box opens, print it as a PDF and save it on your device, you can do this for any article online. really simple

Easy day, just use PrintFriendly extension, collects the page as a pdf, you save it. Combine the pages later with pdf combiner, and viola, you got it. I used to copy and paste into notepad too, but after I discovered PrintFriendly extension to Brave browser, I had a much easier time of it. A website combinepdf will assist in the combining of pdf pages, drag and drop, slide to make sure pages in order, hit combine and rename.. Delete indiv pages left on drive and you have the story in one pdf doc..

Copy and paste is the only way I know how. One tip though is to highlight the first few words, hold your mouse clicked and then press CMD + DOWN to go straight to the bottom and then scroll up very slightly to make sure don't copy the bumpf at the bottom.

Not super time saving but means ou don't have to spend ages scrolling.

What I would absolutely love is having my iPhone read the story out to me not only that but do it in a voice not so electronic.

I listen to podcasts in my travels but I so would change to stories if I could get that feature to work.

I use the POCKET offline reader app to mark a story for reading later. When you reopen the story in pocket it reformats the literotica story so that all pages of a multi page story are displayed as a single continuous page, which makes cutting and pasting to a local file MUCH easier.
