How to decide on a topic

Hello all - first post on this forum!

I've been doing some reading on writing erotica, but before I start writing books and publishing on amazon, I need some guidance.

Mainly, I'm trying to figure out a topic or kink or whatever to write about.

I figure it's best to write about what I know (or porn I watch), and heard it's good to combine kinks, so here's what I've come up with:

step-sibling - especially where it's some kind of punishment or blackmail - stealing, got some dirt on you, etc
realtor - i wont make the sale unless i sleep with the client, i wont get the job unless i sleep with the boss (let them do whatever I want)
So basically punishment, blackmail, and submission

I don't really know anything about BDSM otherwise I'd consider that.

Any tips for me on w hat topic to decide on first?

As for what to write, realize that nobody pays to read here and you don't get paid for posting stories. Whatever your alleged motive, it boils down to self-gratification. Write what you want. Post it. Note reactions. Write some more. Please yourself however you wish. Have fun!
