I've not really looked into what positions would be best but make sure that when you make love it is not only to conceive, the more pressure you put on each other for her to get pregnant, the less likely it is to happen so just have fun and try not to stress if it doesnt happen straight away

just thought i'd expand on what kiss me and ms kat said...
the timing IS important and screwing like bunnies is always advisable. the point i want to make is that the more frequently he ejaculates, the more potent his sperm is. in other words, if he abstains for days to "build up a big load" you won't get much more than a big load. sperm are more motile when they're "fresh" rather than just kinda loungin' out for a few days.
so, yeah, have at it as often as possible.

Not so sure about that...
I read that testes can store sperm. This means that if you abstain, you get a large amount dumped into the semen the first time, and the second time you cum there isn't much more sprem available in storage, so most of what you get will be what can be manufactured in the time between the cums. So if you keep cuming on a frequent basis, the amount of sperm in each load will drop to a number which represents jthe manufacturing rate.
Sprem preductino isn't continious, but (I think) you get a new load every day or so (or was it every 12 hours?) o if you cum several times in a few hours, there isn't much sprem at all in the last load.

there is the tradition of having no sex until five days after the woman's period ends until her period starts again.
No sex means no intercourse and no ejaculating. I have known women to become pregnant by the third month using this method. YMMV

Not just sex...
Make love. Forget about trying to get pregnant. Just make love often. It will happen when it happens. But as someone already mentioned, don't pressure yourself about getting pregnant. Relax with the knowledge that you don't have to worry about birth control.
Make love knowing that the fruit of the love between you will be a miracle visited upon the two of you. Good luck, and be sure to revisit this thread with the good news!

A sperm cell has a life of about 12 to 24 hours. Saving up more than that doesn't increase the sperm count. It does, however, allow the testes to store more of the 8 or 9 other substances that are in a man's cum. That's why you spew more after a day off than you do if you let it go every day.

I think for our second child my husband and I tried every conception method know to man. We had me lay with my legs together over in the air after sex, we changed our diets and drank these godawful shakes designed to increase fertility, we had sex in every position we could think of. I took my temperature faithfully every day and would page my husband home to have sex when it went up. We did it every day for 6 months and then only when conditions were optimum for conception for 6 months. We tried everything under the sun for a year and NOTHING!
After about 14 months of trying we decided that we were blessed with one beautiful child and if that was all we were meant to have then we would be content. We put away all the charts and thermometers and devices and went back to just having sex for fun.
7 weeks later I found out I was pregnant with our second daughter!
Relax and enjoy each other, if it's meant to happen it will and all the positioning in the world doesn't change that.
