Forgive me if this has been asked before. I'm new here, and still learning my way around. If I write a story which contains elements that fall into more than one category (for example: erotic horror, anal, nonconsent) which section should I categorize it under when I submit it? If this is a stupid question, I apologize for wasting your time.

It's your choice, mostly, but it's always best to go with the one that pisses off the least amount of people. In your example, that would undoubtedly be Non-Consent. Non-consent readers are unlikely to be upset if you throw in some horror and anal into their stories, but readers of other categories don't usually react well to non-consent episodes in theirs.

Perhaps your best approach is to read stories [and the accompanying comments] already submitted in a category you are considering. If the comments and the rating on the story indicate that the elements of the story are not what the readership wants, avoid the category.
