What 'crowd' is more forgiving...

The Romance crowd if the story is actually a love triangle and lacks a clear-cut happy ending... and probably the strongest LOVE story that comes through is the relationship (non-sexual) between a mother and son.

Or the Erotic Couplings crowd when the story takes a serious dip (nose-dive) into tragedy?

Got a story and I'm stuck with which way to go because it doesn't actually fit into either in my mind.

It is a very sophisticated story, and nicely done, but the one things that bugged me was that not once did he come across as a 19 year old, despite his age coming up over and over.

Definitely not romance. Besides the 3some, the characters aren't likable (and I think that was your intention).

I don't like the idea of erotic couplings either, or group sex. I think you will get burned in those categories.

Perhaps non-erotic? The sex doesn't seem to be the focus so you may get away with this.

But wait and see what other people suggest.

Great writing, probably too good for this site.

i always think of the erotic couplings catagory as the catch-all for stories that dont fit into any other.
