I don't run an adult website, but I have built more than my fair share of websites in the past 9 years and have considered on several occasions putting together an adult site for myself.

You'll need 3 basic items to have an adult site. A host, someone to buy the content from, and of course a domain name.

The domain name is easiest. So I won't bother describing how to get that, but you can find a directory of content providers from this url;

Adult content can get pretty pricey unless you happen to be lucky enough to have a really hot exhibitionist girlfriend.

The biggest problem with hosting is you want the site to be successful, but adult sites are bandwidth hogs. So check carefully before you pick a host that you aren't picking one with large over bandwidth fees, or one that appears sluggish because they are cramming too many sites on one server.

Also, make sure you select a host which has the tools needed to allow credit card access to the site.
