A woman can have multiple orgasms in a single session of lovemaking, while the man climaxes one time and he’s done. Why exactly is this? It has to do with the internal mechanics of ejaculation in men and the need for a refractory (rest) period. It usually takes about 20 minutes for the man to “reload” before he’s ready to go at it again.

A man can actually become multi-orgasmic! The principle behind this is easy to understand:

Ejaculation and Orgasm are NOT the same thing!

That’s right. There is a difference between the pleasurable sensations of the orgasm and the physical event of ejaculation. In essence, you can have an orgasm without ejaculating, and you can ejaculate without having an orgasm. The trick is differentiating between the two, and learning to control both.

Most men who practice these exercises will begin to experience multiple orgasms within a week or two and will master them within three to six months.

First and foremost, you need to develop your sexual strength. This brings us back to those amazing PC Muscles. Once the muscles are strengthened, you can learn to separate orgasm and ejaculation. Your orgasm builds from your prostate, so learning how to squeeze on the prostate with your pelvic muscle is vital. Get in the habit of squeezing them several times every day. When correctly applied during sex, this is how it works: When you approach orgasm, you hold back by slowing down or stopping by pulling out of the vagina. By squeezing the PC Muscles at the point of ejaculation, you may experience “mini-orgasms” that feel quite wonderful and enable you to continue having sex for an extended period of time.

Some doctors say that learning the Squeeze Technique is the quickest way for men to become multi-orgasmic. You should practice these ejaculatory control techniques at least 3 to 5 times a week. Consider it a training session, and abstain from masturbation while doing so. Focus also on the Scrotal Tug. In so doing, you will learn to keep your testicles pulled down to delay ejaculation. You can either hold them between your legs or gently tug them down with one hand.

In addition to the PC Exercises and the aforementioned techniques for controlling premature ejaculation we’ve already discussed, you want to focus on breathing. Since the breath is the gateway to controlling your entire body, you need to practice strengthening and deepening your breathing patterns. Inhale through your nose and feel your lower abdomen expand at the navel area. While keeping your chest relaxed, exhale with some force to pull the lower abdomen back, as if you were pulling your navel back towards your spine. Notice also that your penis and testicles pull up while exhaling. Continue breathing this way between 20 to 35 times. Now you’ve got all of the basics you need to learn to become a multi-orgasmic male. One noted sex expert developed the following step-by-step system of separating orgasm from ejaculation. Once you differentiate between the two, your staying power will be endless and your orgasms will be many.

Exercise to Separate Orgasm from Ejaculation:

Lubricate your penis.

Begin pleasuring yourself. Not just your penis, but your scrotum and the perineum.

Become aware of your rate of arousal. Notice the tingling at the base of your penis, the stages of erection, and the changes in both your breathing and your heartbeat.

Stimulate yourself ALMOST to the point of orgasm, then stop. Breathe deeply and contract your PC muscle. You can also delay ejaculation by pressing on the Million Dollar Point, using the Scrotal Tug or by pressing on the tip of your penis. (You will have to discover which of these techniques works best for you and keep practicing it.) Very important: Pay close attention to your arousal and stopping in time… at least a few strokes before the “Point of No Return”.

If you’re finding it difficult to keep from ejaculating, keep squeezing and releasing your PC Muscles several times. Stop for a few seconds, and practice your deep breathing.

After you have peaked several times without ejaculating, stop. You should feel peaceful. You should feel rejuvenated. Again, take note of the sexual energy circulating in your body, which you will feel as a tingling or prickling.

It will take practice and utmost concentration on your part. Don’t give up on it, though. The most noted Sex Therapists in the world all say the same thing: ANY MAN CAN LEARN TO BECOME MULTI-ORGASMIC. It won’t happen in a single sitting (actually, it might!), but the more you gain control over your body.. the easier it will become to climax again and again during a single session of lovemaking. Now won’t that make your lover jealous?!

I've practiced this for years, and still find that while several orgasms are nice, they rarely pack the same punch.

The distraction of concentration - even once I got to the point where it was reflex - moderated the strength of the orgasms. The last one tends to be stronger than the first one; this seems to me to be a combination of the generalized rule of each successive orgasm being stronger than the last (for men) combined with being able to relax and just have an orgasm.

Of course, that's just from the male perspective. This method is pretty handy when going doubles with the womenfolk.

Nowadays I use that muscle strength to draw out that long yawning between the point of no return and the onset of ejaculation. Nice recoil effect; or at least that's how it feels.

My own preferred method of multiple orgasm, one that does not require much practice, is to push myself just beyond the point of no return and let the orgasm wash over on autopilot. On the fifth or sixth contraction (usually one or two before the last one), I start again and trigger a new point of no return within five to ten seconds. Go just beyond that limit, stop touching yourself, etc. Repeat as desired. I usually hold out for three orgasms, but have gotten up to fivesies before losing self-control. I'm not in the mood for this often, maybe once every couple months.

The case is the same here in that each individual orgasm is not as intense as a single shot. Sometimes this method leads to a sustained multi-peak orgasm stretching over a few minutes.

The upside to both is that, from time to time, the lack of a full feeling of satisfaction fuels a desire for a second round.

I agree with CasusCoiti, When I have several small ones I never feel totally satisfied i would rather have 1 or 2 mind blowing ones and go to bed feeling satisfied.
