Am finishing a story where two of the main characters agree to a scene where there will be a simulated rape.

The characters discuss explicitly that they are going to do this, and they agree on a safe word.

Will I encounter problems getting this accepted?

Thanks.

Odds are that it's going to depend upon whether significant ( as determined by Laurel ) portions could be reasonably read as rape, rather than rape play where all participants have agreed to what's going on.

If the narrative makes it obvious that it's play, then you clear that bar, and you'll likely be fine — although there may be restrictions upon which category you can post it to.

If it's too easy to read the scene out of context and assume it's a depiction of actual rape, then you'll be under the rules governing non-consent stories, which are quite ambiguous. The generally stated guideline comes in two forms:

Rape fantasy stories are accepted, while Rapist fantasies are not.

The second form generally says that stories where the victim gets no pleasure from the sex acts aren't going to be accepted.

It all boils down to nobody here can really tell you. LOL

You'll just have to submit, and see if Laurel thinks it's within bounds. Fortunately, there's no penalty for submitting a story that breaks content rules beyond the rejection of that story. You're not going to get banned, or blackballed, or whatever. The story comes back with a rejection reason, and you can choose to modify the story or not. That's the end of it.

Write it, submit it, and see what happens.
