How old are MILFs?

Trust me, this has to do with Story Ideas.

If one is to write a story about a MILF, how old should she be? I have an opinion, but I'm not sure I am correct. Please read on, and tell me if I am wrong.

To me, a MILF doesn't technically need to be a mother. More important is that she is someone that someone else (a sexually active male) wants to fuck, and he sees her as a mother figure.

And beyond that, she should be someone who reminds him of his own mother. So she should be about the same age as his mother. Better yet, in a perfect porn world, she would actually be the mother of a friend of his.

So, assuming our protagonist is a perpetually horny teenager or college student, whose own mother is probably between forty and fifty, I'd say that is the ideal age for a MILF in a MILF story.

Any thoughts? Am I way off, or does this makes sense? Thanks, all!.......Carney

I'd say anywhere from 30-60 is fair game, 40ish is probably a common age for people to think of as a MILF. The thing to remember is that when you think of a MILF she has to show her maturity, if you describe her as 40 but looking like she was 20 then that takes away all the joy of her MILFness.

technically though she only needs to be a mother. age gap optional. if you want to play the gap though, since He needs to be 18+, she needs to be 30+ish to make it work.

An interesting twist might be he sees/meets her, with toddler, assumes she's young, shocked when he finds out how old she IS (like say 35 or 40?)

I agree, she definitely should be a mother. I personally prefer if she is married, but that is not a requirement. I see the age range from 30-45 or 50. More than that you get into GILFS.

I also think the term 'milf' has evolved away from being a mother and is just a hot mature woman. Otherwise you can have 18 year old milfs.

And the term milf is way overused, you see a lot of stuff now with women in their early 30's being catagorized as such.

To me, a milf has to be at the very minimum around 40.

In my never humble opinion you can't be a MILF until you're roughly 30. Generally a bit older. MILF is a title that is supposed to be put on you by the friends of your children. So you can't be an 18 year old MILF unless you had your first kid at five. The term becomes meaningless if you apply it to eighteen year olds who have children. Just like cougar would be meaningless if it started applying to twenty five year olds dating eighteen year olds.

Bleh, yeah it's not exactly a real word. I mean its all based around the 'I'd like to fuck.' which varies from person to person. And as weird as it is, there's 12 year olds getting knocked up and 100 year olds are mothers (and grandmothers and great grandmothers but still mothers) not really allowing for any set age group. There's other ways to get picky about it too.

Since American Pie came out and the term fixed itself in my mind, though, I kinda picture it as a woman who has a kid and is between 30 and 45.

A woman can be a couger and a MILF; they are not contradictory, they are different concepts from different perspectives.

MILF = based on younger men's perception of the woman
Cougar = based on the older woman's perception of younger men

Tho technically anyone with a child could be a MILF (assuming you want to fuck them) I don't think there's anything special about wanting to have sex with someone who is a mom. (Maybe I'm wrong, not being a guy maybe there's something about being a mom that's inherently unsexy.) A sexy mom is not the same as a MILF in my mind. A true MILF -as has been stated- is the mom of one of your friends, or a mom in your neighborhood or circle who is basically old enough to be your mom. (A friend of your mom's or a mom of your friend). The basis of it seems to be "yeah she's old enough to be my mom but i want to fuck her."

Now a cougar is dependent on what the woman wants to do, while a MILF is dependent on what the guy wants to do. A MILF is a mom that the guy wants to fuck and a cougar is a woman who goes after young guys. So I think if you pursue her and she isn't in a regular habit of fucking young guys, then she's not really a cougar even if you get her in bed.

It's really all subjective. BTW, I tend to like guys who are about 5-8 (sometimes more) years younger than me and I'm 35. So I'm not old enough I guess to be a cougar- I guess I'm just a cradle robber.

Sorry, but I can't agree with you, SNP. My friends talk about MILFs all the time and none of them are talking about women the age of their mothers, which would be 50+. The attraction, I think, is the forbidden nature; the idea of fucking someone else's woman. I think it's really more a WILF thing than a MILF thing.

Then you have friends who are misusing the term. (and when you get yourself to be say 40 + you should no longer be using the term at all.
