In the last few days, I have whittled down my MSN list to about 5 people...I have whittled down my "buddy" list here to 4...and I am about to start in on my address books and yahoo messenger lists.

ok...I managed to delete all but 4 names...but you can't block them before you delete them like you can on MSN. So I may not be able to see them...but I think they could still see me. Does anyone know if that is true or not?

I can't answer your question, bratcat. All I know is I played around with my options on Yahoo, and now it's ALL messed up. I don't know wtf it's doing anymore... And I finally made MSN go away... but I think it may be hiding somewhere.

I am thinking of using this as a sigline, though--

Actually Bratcat, yes they will still be able to see you. The only way to fix that is to add their id's to your ignore list under your privacy settings.

Thanks i just did that. Well, I clicked on the "ignore all users not on your friends list" option. Hopefully, that will work.

I think I edit my lists about once every two months. Unless of course someone pisses me off greatly before that two month period elapses, in which case, I delete and ignore them right away. (I mean seriously pisses me off... I'm not hot-tempered, but I do have a line that can be crossed).

I dont like to update my buddy list that often. I like to let ig grow to the the 120 person list I have today. I delete the ones I havent seen in years. But everyonce in a while it is nice to talk to someone to whom which it has been a while.
