How much longer?

I wonder how much longer its going to take them to fix the, "New Stories," section. I haven't even been able to get into it. I understand some others get in but it takes for ever and the voting isn't working at all.
that's really a shame for those with stories.
I assume they are working on the problem but its been a good 48 hours now. Does anyone have any idea how much longer before this is cleared up?

I am frustrated too. My readers are emailing me saying they can't vote. I am sure the lit techs are working on it, but is there a time frame?

This has happened in the past, but never for this long. All in all it seems as if the site's operations don't seem like a priority here anymore.

Once when this happened during a contest they let the stories stay under the new releases for another day, but other times the author has been pretty much screwed, it's a shame.

The time for a story to post is getting longer and longer as well. I put one in for deletion five days ago and nothing yet.

Favourite Story still seems to be working. So if you really liked a story and want to go back and vote for it later, that's one way of keeping track of it.

It pretty much sucks. I put a story online on tuesday, hoping it would get on by friday. Not only did it not get on until Sunday, but now the site is bugging out. I've only gotten one vote on it. A couple of favorites and positive feedback, but I doubt that anyone will even see it, and I could have gotten a lot more traffic on friday.

I'm pretty sure today was Sunday. That may mean something on a mom and pop administered website.

Okay, so far its been...

48 hours and we're still counting. It is now 12:30 Monday morning and I still can not get into the 'new stories,' section. What a crock. I have a story I'm working on but decided not to submit until I'm done with all 3 chapters. Am I glad I made that decision.
I just hope they have it fixed by that time.

For me, on Saturday 2/25, the New Stories page was coming up promptly, and the votes were taking OK.

Sunday, the New Stories page was taking a minute or more to load or reload after reading a story/checking an author's story page, etc.

I did read the new chapter when it showed up today, Mostera. Still going great, I'm liking it a lot. But it wouldn't take my vote, either when I read it, or just now when I tried it off the link in your post.

Has anyone PM'ed Laurel or Manu on this and heard back from them?

[I have tried PMs to Manu in the past a couple of times, and he never replied. Never tried Laurel - although New Stories is her baliwick, isn't it?
