I had it inscribed "To my soulmate blah blah...
Except when I got it-they sent it fed ex because the place was in Boston and I was in RI and wanted to get it without her knowing, I opened it up and it said "To my sole mate"
I was rip shit because I already had the night planned to propose so had to give it to her anyway, then told her I was going to go in and have it fixed, she said no, she thought it was cute and appropriate because I have a foot fetish so she liked the pun the incorrect spelling made.

I suppose it depends on what a soul mate means to you. To me, it's someone that I become deeply connected to in some way, and it could be a lover or a friend. So, I have more than one, and each has a little piece of me that no one else does or ever will.
