wear a necklace or chain with the BDSM symbol on it? I'm considering getting one.

Thank you.

Owlz

There's a symbol?

Nope, sounds like the sort of gay thing Trekkies would do, walking around with symbol pendants and secret handshakes and stuff.

I think there's a difference between pretending to be in a fictional society and showing "pride" when you're part of a group that's maligned in real society.

Owlz,
I don't have a BDSM pendent but I do have an HRC bumper sticker on my car.

HRC? Human Rights Commission?

I don't wear any BDSM jewelry.

All I have is my necklace that serves as a dress collar. No one that hasn't been told, would readily see the significance.

Human Rights Campaign

THERE ya go! I knew I had it wrong...and actually knew the correct name...but my one remaining brain cell is 'off the clock' & not cooperating.

What does the necklace look like? Others don't need to be told (as I've learned here).

Fungi, I've put this off long enough. I have to ask: Is your AV one of the sand people from the 'Star Wars' movies?

(Klingons for your mother has a smooth forehead!)

Francisco.

I don't wear any symbols or jewelry. For me, BDSM exists in my bedroom only, and I am not into the public scene so I have no need to publicly identify it.

Will what others do have an impact on whether you get one or not? Why not just get one if you want one and leave it at that? Oh and if you are interested in symbolizm itself, there's a lot on this in the library too. Just sign me chaff.

It's one of the nine riders from the Fellowship of the Rings.
