How many pairs of shoes is too many?

A trivial thread I know, but life gets too serious too easily.

Prompted by the fact that I am now being refferred to by those around me as a bunny boiler due to me having 64 pairs of shoes.

I wondered what people think is a reasonable number of pairs of shoes to own?

A pair of shoes and a spare pair just incase or something, thats what I do

Well as a crossdresser I have 5 pairs of mens shoes and 59 pairs of womens.
I doubt if most non crossdressing men have that many pairs of high heels

I would have to agree...one can never have too many pairs of shoes...or cute bags/pocketbooks. It is a problem for those who must live in small apartments though...

one pair of dress shoes
one or more used pairs of the above

so thats 5
I've got 4 here right now
boots, work shoes, old work shoes, sandels
I've forgotten my dress shoes back home

At least enough to cover the entire expanse of your closet floor...but more than that is ideal

hmm..

i have a whole bunch of shoes that i have gotten barely any use from.

the ones i use are:
sandshoes
taekwondo shoes
boots
3 pairs work related..
one pair heels.. bought only after the old pair broke..

and slides..

then i've got a whole bunch thrown into the bottom of my closet..
aqua shoes.. slippers.. sandals.. random others..

as a girl.. when it comes to shoes i really seem to be a tomboy..

Have as many shoes as you want and can afford.. you have too many when you have no place to put them.

when it comes to shoes, bags, lingerie, clothes, jewellery,money, sex (hmm what else did i leave out) there's no such thing as enough!

right now i've got

*black knee high length boots (sexy with mini skirts)
*regular black flip flops (easy and quick to slip on)
*two pairs of white heels (one pair is more fancy for dresses and such. the other pair i wear with jeans and sweaters)
*simple black close toed (for work)
*regular tennis shoes (general)
*black close toed heels (also for work)
*motorcycle boots
*2 other sets of tennis shoes (now used for yard work, one set at my parents, and one set at my house)
*tan platformy shoes (to match with certain outfits)
*black open toed heels (more dressy)
*clear cinderella kind of shoes (just thought they looked awesome)
*blue flip flops (the beach)
*tan strappy heels (to match with certain outfits)
*silver strappy playboy heels (to match with certain outfits)
*black stripper shoes (for sex and just feeling sexy)

so i guess 17, but i would still get more given money to blow on them.

I like cinderella shoes I have a pair which ae like a silver mirror ball, all mirrored facets. they look stunning, but are a bitch to wear, that just cut up my feet around the edges of the shoe. But who said beauty was supposed to be pain free.

I think the answer would be you can never have enough but in one condition, that you actually wear the shoes more then twice! I actually bought shoes that I've never worn and thought to myself, what was I thinking when I bought those!

I'm a sneaker addict, so I've got a lot of guy's sneakers around that I never wear. Probably, 10 pairs of sneakers... And, I've got like 5 pairs of girl shoes, pumps mostly.

Well as a guy with a boot fetish, I would say having so many that you have trouble getting into your bedroom wodl be too many... Now if I can just get the door open...
