I met the love of my life online though... even though my life has been fairly short. Unfortunately, we just cant seem to overcome the distance and age differance obstacles that are thrown in the mix. I dont know if I would ever get so attached to someone online, or on Lit, ever again.

I am not sure but perhaps it has something to do with the Lit membership in your area...

I have been with Lit for a good number of years. I physical have meet some 25 to 30 people from Lit at cookouts I have held at my home in the past. I have some incredible friendships from Lit... However, their just friends. Those that showed physical interests only talk the talk...

A very good female friend here from Lit. summed it up the best. She meet someone from Lit and they have been together for two years. Her theory is a simple one. If you meet a person on Lit of interest that say their looking for a sexual relationship if you have hooked up together within the first two weeks! Drop it your only petting their ego. May sound a little self centered but having spent months in cyber relationships it's such a terrible waste of time. The physical needs never get satisfyed.

Now compound the situation even more. In the New England area there has to be at least 100 guys for every 1 gal here on Lit. That's pretty shitty odds. May be great if your a gal... But, I've got better things to do!

I wouldn't hold my bearth waiting for a night of passion from a female lover from Lit... This have only been my experiences!

I've never met someone from lit, in fact I've never spoken to someone from where I live on lit, it's sorta one reason why I frequent lit because I can be me without anyone judging, of course I'd love to meet someone who could accept what I'm into and who I am without any discomfort.

I'm a rather shy person in real life however (sadly) and very self concious, the net lets me explore myself without fear and if there was to be more people in my area on lit I think I'd be too afraid of being "found out" as I'm not ready to "come out" about who I am and shouldn't have to as a wise friend said:

You shouldn't catagorise yourself because you're simple who you are.

Anyway that was a little too deep and off topic, I'd love to meet the right person here but to do that I think I'd either have to move over seas or risk being exposed.

I am so sorry to read about those of you with the poor or bad experiences. We both got onto lit for the sex of course! but our chatting on Yahoo quickly became chatting on the phone for hours at a time, and that naturally led to us wanting to meet. When we did it was the best experience of both our lives; at last we'd both met someone who was as open and exciting as the other. Neither of us felt the need to be someone we weren't!

Well, I've waited for three years... Lost lots of interest in Lit and have been visiting other sites. I gave it a fair shot. Besides if it doesn't happen in two week its not gonna happen so bye bye... Don't have time for head games there such a terrible waste of time! although i havent met anyone from lit i too did meet my lover on line and at 1st it was only sex and fun but fucking can lead to love which it did then we got married now ive been liveing with her over 5 years and the sex is still great i guess we just connected. Lit is a great place to read about the way other people are but the one thing you cant do on line is to try and change them.

Who wants to change them? I just love my D the way she is and that's why I want to be with her now. The sex is the best ever, and as for the love well we connected right away there and I love her more deeply than i could ever have imagined!

Yes lit is a wonderful place and I can truly say it changed my life for the better!
