I guess the answer to this all depends upon how long you have to know a person before he/she is no longer a stranger. I don't suppose 12 hours of walking around together and exchanging a few words here and there is enough to make someone move from the stranger category to the acquaintance category?

i was just trying to point out, that for an erotica site, this place sure has a whole lot of uptight people!
get all twisty and funny when you admit you're a sex-player - especially if you're a woman!

i do take sensible precautions against some bad - letting a friend know where i am, making sure (as sure as anyone can be) that the guy/gal isn't a complete psycho, ordering a cab/phoning a friend for a pickup in the morning before i walk in the door... that sort of thing.

and of course, without exception, i practice safe-sex.

so, here i am at the age of 36 nearly 37, still alive, never been attacked (as an adult anyway), never had an std, and with some pretty awesome memories under my belt.

Hahah!!! Well, I guess if you were having a really good conversation it could move him/her from stranger to acquaintance.

In my case, I had 12 hours of walking around, sitting next to, singing with, and talking to someone I did not know. Both of us were completely sober. He just sort of.... snagged me (it was at a powwow). And well... next thing I know he's introducing me to his family and friends, and they're treating me llike I'm going to be his wife or something, and at the end of the day he goes back with me to my hotel room (I really thought my friends would be there or I woudln't have done that) for "some time to talk" <---I was really naive back then. And then, when we realized no one was there, he just... pounced. I was scared to death. Sort of. It was a rather conflicting set of emotions. Part of me wanted to fuck him. The other part was scared to death because I didn't know if he had any STDs, I didn't have any condoms with me, I didn't want to get pregnant, and I didn't know how to get myself out of the situation. In the end I ended up sleeping with him two nights in a row before I left. Never saw him again. It was crazy. I was also VERY lucky because I did not get a disease. I have never done anything like that ever again. Too risky.
