How mant people worry about running into somebody they know on these boards

I was just thinking about how embaresing I would be if I ran into somebody I knew on this board.
I actually think I have once (not on here) just by the nick name he uses on other boards. But do I ask him about it?? Chances are that neither of us would like the other to know.

Has this happened to anybody??

I guess that would depend on the person. What if the person was some sleaze (by that I mean creepy).

I fantasize that everyone is fun loving and shares a healthy interest in sex.

I'd sort of like to run into some of the women.

Well, I thought long and hard when I joined here just the other day about using a different name to the one I use everywhere else, then figured, what the hell?

I'm not ashamed of my interest, I'm human and curious, and if people I know turn up here and get bugged by it, then, ermm, why are they here anyway? Sort of, Pot + Kettle = Black

I think about it, certainly. I live in a large city and know of several other Lit members who live in the same city. I used to worry about it. Now I think about running into them naked

Oh, don't think of anyone as being defensive. I certainly am not. I'm okay with posting in here and if anyone recognizes me and tells me about it, I'm not worried about it. I think most everyone who gives any kind of personal detail about themselves isn't worried about other people confronting them. After all, that person who is confronting you has also been visiting the board. Seems like a wonderful conversation starter to me.

Separate Worlds

There ARE certain Lit members I would love to encounter in real life. At the same time, however, my Lit adventures are not known in my real world. I suppose if I ran into someone here that I knew IRL, it would be OK. However, at this point in time I am trying to keep the two separate. Hence, I tend not to provide very many personal details in my posts.

...I go to a naturalist tanning facility and I've thought of that there too. As has been said, if they're there too then who are they to cast stones?

I didn't understand you. I repeat what I said before: If somebody I knew before Lit saw something I wrote on Lit and made the connection, then mentioned it to me, I'd probably ask them if they like what I wrote. If they're on here, they're on here for the same reasons I'm on here, so what's to be embarrassed about? Get me?

The person I think I ran into on another board is pretty close to married so that is the reason I haven't said anything to him, although I did get drunk a few weeks ago and I think I spilled it to his girlfriend! I made it out to be like it could have been anybody with that nick name though.
