the year that gave us 'Argos' from Wishbone Ash. Made in Japan From Deep Purple (Machine Head live?) - arguably the greatest live album ever made. some shitte from led zepplin, Close to the Edge - that yes classic. Squak by Budgie - welsh twats but still quite musical as cunts go...

anyone got any other suggestions, or maybe an alternative stance? What about punk rock - music for wankers, but worth comment?

I fucking love CSN&Y. That's def in my top five albums ever along with Heartbreaker by Free, which I think might be 73 but not positive, or would have posted the title track (good shagging song that). Carry On has sublime harmonies, prob the best I've heard along with Seven Bridges Road by Eagles (bet you hate them though :D ).
