Neither was I when I started submitting stories to Literotica. All my efforts are genuine attempts to write interesting and entertaining tales. Some of them fail more spectacularly than others...

Unfortunately for my attempts to reach the depths, some readers recognise the humour.

En re the original thread topic. This story isn't in the league of the Great Og's lowest effort. But then again, what story is?

I have yet to receive a vote because I lack the guts to actually submit. I therefore rate myself lower than all.

I have given one story to one other author for feedback and he got though about half of it - even though its only 1500 words or so. Signs are NOT good

Don't worry. Members of Literotica who have not actually submitted a story are the majority. Many of those who have dared to expose their work found it difficult to do the first time.

Once you have lost your virginity as an author each time becomes easier. Begging for votes and comments does become shameless as you may have noticed from the threads in the Author's Hangout.

Go for it. Join the daring minority who put their work on display for readers to throw rotten fruit at. Who knows? You might find one or two who like what you write. Those few repay the effort.

Thanks for those words of encouragement! If I ever do submit one, it will be followed by about 50 others shortly after! That's how many I have written (at last partly anyway).
