Anyone know how many words a submission needs to be?

I swore no more series but... almost rather make this new thing a few short chapters instead of one long one. Since so many people don't read more than 2 pages and

somepeople think my stories are too long.

I think the minimum is 750 words carson. that dosen't include thihngs like the end or chapter headings or anything extraneous like author's notes.

As long as it's not your 'tale' that's too long.

We do not currently accept submissions under 750 words.

I don't typically write LONG pieces, but for grins I once limited myself to that 750 words. My friend bet me that I couldn't write an "effective" story in so few words. I won the bet.

Have you read any of the Snippettsville Group collections of stories in 'Chain'? Each individual story is between 585 and 605 words, nominal 600. Some of them are excellent. Must declare an interest, as some of them are mine, lol. We got an agreement from Laurel to submit them as collections under the group name to bypass the 750 minimum.
