Does it take for my story to be approved? It has been over a week now and it still says Pending.

There is no set time.

Although Laurel tries to have everything posted in 48-72 hours, she's the only one who reads and approves the stories and so real life sometimes intrudes on the time she has to read and evaluate stories. A flood of submissions at the same time as yours can also result in longer waits for posting so that the numbers of stories posted each day is fairly consistent as Laurel spreads the bounty out over several days to cover days when there are few submissions.

I've had submissions take as much as two weeks or as little time as 12 hours.

One thing to remember, is that every time you open the story and click on save instead of <Back> to return to your submission page, it moves your story back to the end of the queue.
