First time user here. Sent a contact to a volunteer editor, and haven't heard back. Just curious on how long I should wait before trying someone else.

With all of the traveling and such going on at this time of the year, I'd give someone a week or so to check their mail. Normally, though. I'd say no more than three to five days.

I'm currently free of editing jobs if you need an editor.

Thanks

Thanks for the information Harold. Appreciate the offer to edit, but in this particular instance I need a female point of view, and input. This story is written from the female point of view, and I need someone to verify contents etc.

Again, thanks, I will go ahead and wait a couple of more days.

You can send it to me, I'll look it over and give you my input as a female. I don't have time to do a thorough line by line edit, where I go through and find the grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. However, I can go through and tell you whether how "female" it feels to me. I would suggest that if you do take me up on the offer that you also utilize WH's services as well. He's extremely good, he hasn't edited me personally, but I've talked to others that he's edited for.

Suggestion taken

Thanks for the offer, the first chapter is in your in box. If you have the time and interest let me know, and I will send the rest. Again, thanks alot for the assistance..

editor

I am willing to edit your story if you have not found anyone yet. I have time to read it, edit for spelling, grammar, and content, and to make sure it flows nicely. If you wish, I could add ideas to enhance and point out aspects I find lacking or done with excellence. Let me know if you want my help.
