How Long Should it Take?

I have posted enough poems here that I know that it usually takes one or two days between sumission and posting. If I submit a poem this afternoon, it will be posted the next day or the morning after. I also know that illustrated poems or poems with audible take longer. The question is, how much longer? I submitted a poem with audible in late April. This is May 17, and it is still pending. I just looked, and that is its status. There are two views, which means it has been looked at, but nothing further has happened.

I also realize that sometimes things happen, and the audible portion, or the illustration, somehow get sidetracked, and when that happens, they tell you. There's nothing said about that either.

Dear man, if you had a story pending for that long, what would you do?
Besides that, why don't you pm laurel (kitty mama) and ask if your submission was lost or overlooked? Hopefully, she'll get back to you and let you know if your attachment is still with your submission or if you should resubmit.

Also, make sure that your poem was described as an audio in the category listing during submission. It's very easy for an accidental scroll to another catagory thus confusing the powers that be.

Do you mean audio poetry is only posted once a month, on a Monday? Actually, it has been more than four weeks since April17.

The entry was described as "Poetry with audible" and I added a note that the audible portion would be emailed, and I gave the email address. When I emailed it, I included the name of the poem as the subject and identified it in the text of the message. The email has not been returned as undeliverable, so it should have been delivered.

It might be a good idea to look in your profile pages to see if the caategory wasn't changed by accident - if it wasn't I expect it will appear soon.

I'm not sure what you mean by "profile Pages". Do you mean the index page where I go to post a new story, or to check on new PC or to see what new thing has posted? I check that every day, usually a couple of times.

She means your main menu on your Literotica Control Panel page, when you log in off the Story Index you're taken there and you can see all your uploads. It's the one that you've been looking at to see if your poem is still pending.

Even after PMing Laurel, and not getting an answer, it is still pending. At least there are two more views, which might be promising. I will wait until May 27, which will be the first moniversary of the submission, and submit it again.

Okay, it has posted. Apparently, I was sending the audio portion to the wrong address, although I am quite sure I successfully sent audio to that address in the past.
