So I don't want to pester the people who review and approve our content and I'm sure there have been many other threads about this which I'm having trouble finding, but how long is reasonable to contact them and how do you go about doing that?
I have one story that after 4 days in pending got sent back over a stupid little mistake which I corrected immediately and put back in the queue. It's now been almost 5 days and its still sitting at pending. Is that enough time to say something or should I give it a little longer (it's been almost a week and a half since the initial submission). Also, I have several other submissions I put in nearly a month ago that haven't been touched in terms of approvals.
If the advice is to send a note to someone, whether now or to wait a couple more days and then do it, please send the link to the right contact form or provide the right contact information.
I have mixed feelings on this process because on the one hand I understand that they're trying to maintain quality and standards which keep readers coming back and I fully approve of that idea, but on the other hand it can be a bit frustrating at times. Thanks everyone!
