How long is it taking?

Okay... okay... I know about the new scripts and about having to post each story manually, so don't flame me. I'm just wondering how long it is taking from submission to posting of a story. I have a story that is MIA for about 8 weeks now. Is this normal?

Yep. I have two still languishing in the sea of her to do box. Been about 8-9 weeks now, I forgot the title of one of them, so I don't know if I'll recognize it if she posts it. Check the thread on the Story Feedback board, Laurel has just responded regarding the issue.

And Laurel, if you're listening... I love the Literotica website. I just like to dabble with writing and this is the perfect venue for me. "No pressure... just send a story if you have one... sit back and enjoy the replies, or learn from your mistakes." At least, that's how I see it. And, since it only costs me an occasional visit to one of your sponsors, it's well worth it. Hmm... I just realized that this my seem like a veiled attempt to use flattery to get my story posted faster. Hehehe... Sounds like a new story line... "The things we'd do to get our stories posted." Shall I start with a bubble bath or 10 naked, studly, volunteer programmers?

FYI, my story is online now. WooHoo!!! It took 9 1/2 weeks. The backlog is long but we can all use lessons in patience eh?
