Howdy everyone,my first thread hope it's not to lame...Iv'e been in a moment of passion, been told just a moment please, have had a moment of fear,I have had a moment of weakness. What i was wondering is JUST HOW LONG IS A DAMN MOMENT.....Please can someone tell me??

My *moments* vary.

From a coupla seconds.

to days and days and days.

That'll be 2 bob,thanks.

As long as it lasts.

Moments are like lies...the more you think about it,the more it changes.

Vague enough? ;)

good point LTR.

My experiences are that if someone tells me they will only be a moment, then they will really be MUCH MUCH longer than a "moment".

As long as it takes for it to happen and you'll only know in retrospect.

I'm so deep.

I think the word moment more defines the intensity or meaningfulness of a period of time than the length. One of those rare occasions when size really doesn't matter.

a moment is a glance, a special touch, that kiss
it's the millisecond lifetime
the lost moments of spring fever
summer love
and looking back
with your love

my moments vary.... when i tell my kids, just a moment, if i dont hurry up and do it, theres hell to pay. if i tell my sister "i'll call u back in a moment", she expects me to call in a few hours....moments depend on the situation.

A moment may be an invitation to a memory...

There will not always be this moment
it is the sorrow of springtime
when the cherry blossoms burst forth
and the seeds you planted
show themselves
to you tender
soft and green
drink in their quiet
purpose and beauty
before the snowy petals
melt
this moment
is yours

To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.

-- William Blake

The length of a moment is relative. I have it on good authority...

When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity. ---- Albert Einstein

The best discription I have heard is
"When you are in pain a second can seem like an hour."
"When you are full of joy and hour seems like a second."
Time is relitive enjoy the time you have for that is all time is just brief moments.

The wrong ones can last an eternity as well.

I know... *hug*

But... deep inside, you cherish those "right" moments forever...
