How long for story approval on this site?

Hi all -- I'm somewhat new around here, and I submitted the first chapter of my first story a couple of days ago. But it's still awaiting approval. Can anyone tell me, what is the average length of time for approval? (assm, for example, had it up overnight.)

it's usually 24-72 hours. Your story acually gets posted in the midnight (pacific time) site maintenance the night after it's approved.

Unlike ASSM/ASSTR, This site has rules on what can and can't be posted and more complex story formatting. Add the fact this site has only ONE editor, as opposed to the many moderators that ASSM has, to approve stories, the normal 48-72 hour wait is actually very short.

How long?

It usually seems to take about three days. Just sit back and relax. It will get there.

Then, the counter rolls up pretty fast - for as long as it's on the new story list in the first few pages. After it is moved to its final catagory, it won't get read too often.
