How long does it typically take for a story to be approved?

I submitted a story over 3 hours ago and it is still pending. Does it always take this long?

1) This is the CHAT support forum.

2) Story approvals are all done manually by Laurel, and it can take days or even weeks to happen. It's never going to be instant or even within a few hours.
