I have submitted a story, quite a while ago, but every time I check it says Approval Pending. How long should this take? Will I get a message "Not approved?

How long ago is "quite a while ago"? It's been taking several days to get a story approved. It's okay to peek at the progress, but do NOT click! That sends your story back to the end of the queue.
