How long does it take for a story to go up?

Last month (the 12th to be precise) I was told by odderotica that he had just posted his second Batgirl story & was waiting for it to be accepted. Every day since, I have eagerly checked the story index for it & have turned up nothing, leading me to the conclusion that it has not yet been accepted.

Is this normal?

It may have been rejected for some reason, and the author hasn't gotten it fixed/resubmitted yet. I haven't been around for all that long, but I'm getting used to the idea that things take between 3 and 7 days to get a response from the powers that be. Your best recourse is to ask the author. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to know that you eagerly anticipate the sequel. And if he is sitting on a rewrite, it may be the inspiration he needs to get through another edit.
