Hi. I just submitted my first story. I was wondering how long does it usually take before it is added to the site? Thanks ;)

Welcome! :rose: Seeing as how our usual answer guru is ailing at the moment, I'll try to recall what the usual answer is...I believe it's 5-7 days? I could be very wrong, though.

Anyone??

Come on, help a goose out please! ;)

Mr. Briggs,

You sir, are a fortunate human being type person. Our official "how long does it take" responder in on sick call. Therefore you'll be spared to write another day.

The short answer is, it varies. About three to five days is the average. Laurel usually posts new stories after midnight CST (California Surfer Time). If your story hasn't seen the light of day in a week, you might send her a PM (not an e-mail) to make sure it hasn't gotten lost in cyberspace.

Welcome to Lit. Feel free to hang around here at AH and share in the swell times, wholesome fun, and other bits of mindless bull shit. My presence alone should be proof the joint's got very low standards.

ps: minsue, you done did fine. RF

Thanks for the great response ;) Looking forward to seeing it posted and seeing what people think.

Welcome Mr. B

I think minsue and Rumple covered your question, so I'll just drop in a "Howdy!" and a "Welcome!"

Tut, tut, tut.

You, of all people, should know that the correct use of the Queen's English demands that your PS should read:

"you did done fine".
