How long after sex are you interested again

I find myself in the hours after sex no longer preoccupied, with pursuing, but more in analyzing my last encounter.

Mind you this is in my "later" years...50's. In my earlier years, I use to pride myself with 3 times in a row...

Withing the next 12-24 hours, my interest in peaked, and then a couple of days to focus on other competing demands of life, until day 3-7, it begins building. A week goes by and I am pretty insistent. Fortunately, my wife has her limits as well, just longer than mine, and not in the hours or day following sex.

What do you find? How do you deal with it? (the peaks, the lulls).

This question would have been much easier to answer 30 years ago. Then I would say that the interest never went away, and I was ready to perform again in 5 minutes.

Now, it depends is the best answer I can give you. If sex is at bedtime, then I'm not interested again for about 8 hours. If it's morning sex, then I'm interested again in about an hour and ready to go in about 2. If the wife and I are playing with another couple, then I'm good to go again after about an hour, if everyone stays naked. If everyone gets up and gets dressed, then not until the wife and I get home. I always love to go one more round with her after we've shared with friends.
