How is Russia a "threat to the world"? It is worth a nuclear war?

The "west" (US/EU/NATO/New World Order) continues to escalate tensions in Ukraine and attempts to provoke Russia (all the while of course making absurd claims Russia is escalating tensions). This does risk causing World War III. The public doesn't seem to realize how close we are getting due to "western" beligerance.

So, is it worth it to have a nuclear holocaust over Russia and Ukraine? Please list reasons why a potential nuclear war and annihilation of the world is worth it, when we didn't even have a nuclear war when the USSR was actually a totalitarian dictatorship trying to export its ideology by force all over the world.

Nukes are like bread. There is a self life. This is as good of time as any to lob a few rounds over there.

We can show them who the boss is and make room in the stockpiles for more stockpiles.

If it's not worth a World War Russia and (what?) allies will back down. If it is, I'd prefer it happen on our terms and with Obama as President. Win/win.
