How is Pat Benatar not already in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?

First Dolly Parton is and always has been my dream girl. Her letter bowing out only reenforces that.

Second, I saw Pat Benetar back in the late 90s when she opened for another act. The girl has ways had killer pipes and put that together with her husband Neil Girardo who is an exceptional guitarist, I'll just say I was thoroughly impressed with what they did. Far more than the headliner from that tour.
As far as I'm concerned the hall has far weaker acts in there than Pat Benetar.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a meaningless gimmick in my view. It also hasn’t inducted Steppenwolf, which tells me all I need to know.

Oh, and Pat Benatar in her ”You Better Run” and “I’m Gonna Follow You” videos….wow! She blew my mind in the days that MTV first aired.
