I've got the beginning of a tan, spent some time at the pool, planning a family trip, and wishing for less rain and more sunshine.

YOu?

I'll know better on wednesday

Summer starts here tuesday. Spring has been either 95 and humid or 55 and raining. This means the grass grows like crazy but when the temperature is bearable to mow it's usually raining.

Then again, I ain't dead or sick. I only look and feel it. :D

It's been strange and beautiful and it's only just beginning. This summer promises to be one to go down in the record books.

What Min said.

I had a wonderful vacation at the Cape with some incredibly beautiful women, I have a little bit of a tan, and the rest of the summer looks hot, but productive. ;)

I'm working on a glorious sunburn so far....some from being outside, some from working with a welder all night during the week. I'm excited about getting married in 2 months, and all-in-all, it's not bad.

The weather is gorgeously hot (no matter how much I hate heat) and it's perfect for doing outside stuff like washing the car, mowing the yard, skinny dipping in the middle of the day....whatever takes us. It's supposed to hold this way for most of next week, too, with temps hitting the lower 100's...which, with rapid cool downs at night will give us some hellacious storms.

I love storms.

It's going to be a good summer if it keeps going like this.

Wow! ...and I thought it got hot in Florida!! I agree, tho...this weather is wonderful, no matter how hot. I hate being cold :(

Now, storms? Gotta agree with you, Darkness. I love 'em!

The more lightning, the better...always reminds me of that old cartoon:

ZOT !!

...now, who used to do that?

Whatever...roll on, summer!!!

My summer.................

How about...WOW !!!

and

WOW!!

and

WOW!!

and there's more to come.

Summer? What summer?

The temp reached the heady heights of 12C (54F) yesterday, rained all day.

The mist clung to the hills so you couldn't see the tops.

Midges were out in droves.

The bright side is: we won't have a water shortage and we won't get sunburnt.

Summer came today.
With a vengeance.

85 + degrees, 8 hours inside a tin box on wheels........I fried.

I feel for you....i used to have a 1980 Caprice (well, MOST of it was 1980...) that had vinyl seats, no AC and the heat was always on. Summers in the midwest SUCKED in the most unpleasant way for the last 4 years....

Dear God....I thought you said "Midgets were out in droves" and I got weird Ompalompa flashbacks from Charley and the Chocolate Factory.

And now that damn song is in my head....

GOD DAMMIT!!!

That was just evil, Dark.

Mine has sucked! I am like $2,000 in debt, I don't have a job, I'm taking online classes which are a royal pain in my ass AND I have to be away from my lover except on the weekends. :( Sorry for bitching. I miss him.

It's scorching here. I've spent most of the day wandering around in just a pair of shorts.

I watched the Lions win this morning, I sat and relaxed for a bit before spending the day with some good friends, playing mini-golf and cooking a barbecue. There is no finer beer than that drunk after working on a barbecue and I have extra satisfaction at pioneering a new way to cook chicken which was roundly lauded by my mates.

<smiles>

Life is good atm.

Awesome!

I'm getting the good posts in today and tomorrow because I'm betting when Tuesday rolls around, I'll be out of good things to say because of the heat.

In the Antipodes...tan is fading, days are cool, night comes quickly, had our first open fire last weekend, first big pot of minestrone soup this week, a lantern walk at kindergarten to celebrate the impending winter soltice -- then the sun will be on her way back! :)

Wishing you warm summer breezes...

Well, it's been interesting to say the least. We've been dealing with Sex Weather. (Hot and Wet.) and that's been the good part. As you know I found out the building I have been renting an apartment in has been, or is in the process of being sold. Plus my mother is going in to have an Aortic Aneurism repaired on Tuesday morning. (You don't think I'm stressing this one a touch now do you? She's a 70 year old three time Cancer survivor as well as a Heart Attack survivor who smokes more than I do. Then again I reckon she's too damned ornery to go, Old Satan would love to have her company down there but knows she would take over.)

On the other good points. My wife and I received confirmation last week that the lump in her breast was a Cyst. Oh and I did finally get some good shots of her in her new bikini/thong to add to my collection. :catroar:

That's goo to hear Cat and doubly good on the new bikini/thong.

You do realise what you have to do after a cancer scare, don't you? You have to check her breasts regularly by massaging them and checking every square inch of them. Maybe 2-3 times a minute.

It's for her own good health.

And how do you think we found the lump?

I do hope she returns the favour by checking your testicles for you.
