How far up can something go? Dunno, I've never measured, and my ruler has sharp edges Beyond 6" or so, go slow and gentle until you work out how far feels safe, you really don't want to hurt yourself in there

Each person is built a little differently, so you have to take it slow. Some people can handle items that are 8"+, others just can't do it.

A good gauge is that if it starts to hurt, back off. You've probably reached a personal limit. You have to keep in mind a couple of things, 1. the diameter of the item being inserted - something that is only 1/2" will go in deeper than something 3", and 2. the rectum curves, it's not a straight line, and that can add to the discomfort of longer items that do not "bend" being inserted.

I probably got around 4-5 inches inserted last night. It wasn't so much that it hurt, it just felt different. I've never had anything that far in before. The diameter of my dildo is around 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches. The widest point is the same width as my buttplug which I can insert without any problems. The dildo is also curved (it looks like a real penis) and is made of silicone rubber so it does bend.. When I inserted it, I inserted it with the curve pointing towards my stomach rather than the other way around. Should I try it the other way? Thanks.

NEVER put anything up there that doesn't have a big bulgeat the base or a rope FIRMLY attached to it. Every ER has a collection of XRays pics (somebody oughta make a book) of what people have stuck up there, lost their grip on it and it got sucked (just a play on words) in. A beer bottle?!! That doesn't sound good. Mine is actually a soft silicone rubber dildo from Vixen Creations and it does have a flared base to keep from getting stuck in there. I read up on the subject when I first got interested in playing back there and made sure everything I used had one.

As for the cheap toys, I tried one when I first started and it developed a tear really quickly and since then moved on to Vixen toys and haven't had any problems with them at all.

That's about right by my experience. You'll know when you reach this point, and I doubt very much that you will with a 6-inch dildo. A lot of good advice here on things NOT to try. I'd heed that advice, but otherwise, have fun.

I agree. Unless it's shaped in a way that the trailing end would "hang up" for some reason, the body seems to try to expel anything pushed in there anyway. I guess it's a matter of being sensible on what you use if you're going to go there.
