magic shave doesnt meet my expectations.... it leaves tiny stubble i can feel when rubbing against the grain, and im thinking about trying waxing. is this any better? i dont care about the pain at all

It depends. If you're fair-skinned, waxing will probably not be what works for you.

I am fair-skinned and fair-haired (natural blonde), and waxing doesn't work, because the hairs break in the middle. No matter how long I grow whatever hair it is I'm waxing, the hair breaks mid-hair, and leaves stubble. The result is SO not worth the pain.

I have yet to try waxing - but I do use a venus razor --- the secret is use VERY hot water when you do it if you feel comfortable with it - my g/f told me she uses a mock3 (sp?) mens razor - and vit. E oil.
Every one is difterant.

ooo OW venus
I tried waxing once.. Lets just say 1 strip of me was bald for afew weeks.

I tried one of these right after I moved for afew weeks, and hated the results.
Mach 3 all the way, although I havent figured out how to stay smooth, I shave & let it grow for 1-2 weeks and shave again to avoid irritation. How often does everyone else shave? How do you avoid irriation?

Try it evey 3 days or so... you will get used to it - go with the grain first btw - then against it. - it makes it easier.

When I went to italy a few years ago, I waxed before I went. I figured that way I could go without the razor for at least a good chunk of my trip. I got waxed, and was left with this white-blonde stubble all over the place. And ripped/marked skin in my bikini area. It looked horrible.
