Just wondering.

Because I haven't written a decent smut story since back when I was getting laid.

One might think it would be the other way round, lack of the real thing making fantasies more prominent. Apparently not. At least for me.

I've noticed that the research part does apply to me - my stories tend to be better the more adventurous I am in bed. If I've done something, I'm able to describe it in more detail and more creatively.

I'm in the "one might think" category: when I'm getting plenty, I can't write about it. When I'm not gettin' any, my fantasy juices flow like the River Styx.

I suppose if I had a cock I'd talk to it
Not recommended. They're pretty monosyllabic in style and monoperspective in opinion.

I let my imagination run wild when I write. It's not attached to my sex life at all, that's for sure. I was writing smut long before I ever got laid! :D

my sex life is certainly enhanced by my writing. He gets a personal reading of most things, which we both look forward to. :D

Ooh, I forgot about that part :D Except my writing just gets analyzed: "So... this is something you've been wanting to do then?"

Never again will I let him read a story of mine where someone gets fisted.

Oh I KNOW! I won't read LW stories to him anymore.

"So you want to be with another woman?" "So are you really happy? Do you actually want to be with another man?"

FICTION. It's called FICTION for a REASON!!! :p

It sounds like he's channeling my wife.

It's an in/out relationship. ;) The more I'm getting in the more I have to put out in my stories. I can run on empty but it's hard to start the motor.

When the sheets are hot, the keyboard's not.

Been doin' a bunch of writin' lately.

Glad I have an active imagination.

Are we married to the same man?

I get none (at least none involving someone else), so I've been writing a lot. it seems my mind is bursting with sexual scenarios whenever I don't get to act any out.

I hear ya. In the past four years, I've had one lover, and that was a recent, short-lived tryst with a married woman. (I know, I know, bad Willie)

I guess my absence of a sex life is what motivates me at the moment, but the memories of those few days with the aforementioned lover have given me some inspiration.

Guess it works both ways. :)

Now that I think about it, my sex life has done a lot of damage to my writing life.

I guess it comes of them having just the one eye.

I'm another of those who write less smut the more quality sex I'm having. My most productive period was when I was getting laid around once a month at semi-random intervals. It was just enough to keep the juices flowing, but leave me hungry for more.
