How does one pick a category?

I have one about bondage,but its more a coupling than a bdsm story.

There are several million to choose from! I'm thinking it would be Erotic Coupling... but dang, I'm not sure.

Think of what the general feel of the story is and go with that.

I have two stories i want to submit when finished
now the one I would say is erotic cuppleing... but there isn't acouple... just one person.

I'm such a newbie.

I had the same problem when I submitted my first (and so far only) story.. Romance or Erotic Couplings. I just went with the Erotic Couplings.. which is what I'd recommend to you if you're not sure... because it seems to fit just about anything with two people.

I think if the reviewers find it too out of line they'd suggest a change, but I've only submitted things twice so I'm hardly an expert. Where's KM when you need her?

Erotic Couplings is the "catch-all" category and your story will have many others competing for readers' attention there. If your story will fit it ANY other category, then put it there.

If your story has something that might offend someone -- incest, nonconsent, anal, Gay or (primarily) Lesbian sex, etc -- then put in the category where people will be least offended at stumbling on it.

Masturbation stories probably best fit in the Exhibitionist/Voyeur category, since there isn't a "solo" catgory.

In general, most stories have an overall sexual theme, although they may contain something from every category -- go with the main theme.

I have it pretty easy when selecting a category to write in. What with all the hot man-on-man action, it all pretty much falls into Gay Male.

Sorry, there's no point to this post. I just like to say hot man-on-man action.
