How does it work?

This may be the wrong forum, but I thought it had the best chance of knowledgeable answers. Why is it when new stories are posted an author can see they have been read a number of times and voted on, none of the new stories show up for viewing? Are they released based on time zones or something?

Edit to add: This is not the first time I've noted this. It has been the case on at least the last three submissions I've made.

They seem to show up in the category hubs a little while before they're on the main New Stories list, so they can pick up views and votes from there.

I haven't bothered to track the timing, but different parts of Literotica update at different times; some parts real-time; some parts hourly, and some parts on once or twice per day.
