How do you turn off the gifs?

My son is too observant and while I would love to check the BB, I am finding it impossible as he notices the gifs even if I am scrolling at the speed of light. Damn 5 year olds-far too keen eyesight. There may be a post already about this but I was in a bit of a hurry-so I apologize for not doing a search before posting.

ok - here goes: click on the link "control panel" above the messages pretty much on every side of the BB, there co to "edit options".

scroll down till you come to "Show user's avatar in their posts?" ion the thread view options category and choose NO

Did you also find the option to show attachments as links? That is another useful childproofing option. <G>
