How do you remove a story you posted

I need to remove a story I have posted. It has to be corrected and resubmitted.

Just bring up the submission page (the same one you used to submit the story). Put the title of the story into the title field followed by the word DELETE. As in: My Wonderful Story - DELETE

Check the box for the category the story is in.

In the story box (where you copied and pasted the story originally) just type in a short message such as: Please delete My Wonderful Story.

The deletion goes through the same process as submissions, so it will be a few days until you see the story is gone.

You might want to add the same note: "Please delete My Wonderful Story" in the NOTES field as well. It won't make it delete any faster, but it'd probably be helpful for those "behind the scenes" to identify your story as a removal.

Oh, and if there are chapters, instead of doing this for each one, just include in the STORY field and NOTES field the same note with a revision: "Please delete My Wonderful Story Ch. 01, Ch. 02, etc.

If you're only doing an edit to an existing story, you can resubmit the edited version without losing votes and comments. If it's hugely different and you want to start fresh, you can do the Delete and resubmit from scratch though.

To submit an edited version, just go to submit a story, paste/upload your edited story (however you do it) and add the word 'EDITED' to the end of your story title (the rest of the title will probably need to match the original). Once it's approved, the edited version will just write over your existing posted story.
