How do you measure cock Length?
From the base to the shaft to the tip?
From the top of the shaft to the tip?

Top of shaft to tip. Yessir. Average penis size from top of shaft to tip is 5 to 6 inches. Total penis length then must be like 25 inches. Sure.

Get a ruler or cloth "tape measurer" and place it up to your erect penis. Measure from the base of the penis to the tip of the head. Yes, it's true that average men are 5.5-6.5" in length. :)

Get a very good friend and measure the distance between her lips and her tonsils. The have her measure it, taking approxiomately 413 consecutive measurements for accuracy. That should do it. :)

Actually, Masters and Johnson measured along the top from where to the penis meets the body to the tip and they measured as close to orgasm as possible, the highest point of arousal. Smaller flacid penises grew more that ones that were larger when falcid. Erection is the great equalizer.

I do love it when someone says 12 "..isnt that a foot ?..in da mouth?

just wondering...

WHY do you want to measure it?

Honestly, most women believe it's how you use the thing that matters. We don't want you to be teeny tiny, no, and we don't want you to elephantine, either. All we really DO want is that you to know how to touch us (penis, hands, lips, tongue, toes, words, etc) in a way that will feel good to us. Penis length and girth is sort of incidental to that touching.

So, obviously, you don't do this measuring thing for us.

Is there, then, some kinda Manhood prerequisite that requires all males to, at some point, masturbate until they're just about ready to orgasm then whip out a measuring tape to quantify thier penis length against some norm? Is all this concern about length just a guy thing?

More of a curiosity thing than anything else.
Read so much about sizes I wondered how people measure, but im not really uptight about to measure. I think im ok but if i so choose I want to know how to go about it.

Yes, 12" equals 1 foot in length. But, if someone says they're 12" online, chop that in about hald and you have their real size. lol Unless you're the type who enjoys fantasy cyber. Then you can pretend the man is any size you want.

YoungGun, I wouldn't worry about it too much. The word "average" wouldn't have been used if they majority of men weren't close to the same size. :) Keep in mind, there's only so much that'll fit into a woman before ya fill her up. ;) Anything left on the outside is a waste! (Unless you ever find a grand canyon pussy that can kate 12" or more! lol)

i regret to inform you that to a guy, all of LIFE is one huge contest of "MY DICKS' BIGGER THAN YOUR DICK!"

Like I said more of a curiosity thing than anything else as to how it is done. I am comfortable with my size.

Too big?

How big is too big? I have friends that say anything over 6 hits the cervix and causes pain, or something like that, I'm not all that sure as to why, but how big is too big?

Some positions allow for deeper penetration. It's not the cervix that causes pain, however. Hitting the cervix, which is part of the uterus, makes it move and jars the ovaries, causing adominal discomfort. This doesn't bother some women, but others feel great discomfort. The pleasure of largeness is usually the result of the streching the ring of muscles around the outer third of the vagina. Hence, many women say they like thickness as opposed to length. Luckily, there are lots of thick dildos out there that allow women to be with the PERSON they like and have the experience of feeling very full as well.

Enjoy your playing.

Too big for your own good.

Well, in reference to the question about men being too big... yes. It can cause problems in the bedroom. Most women are 9" from their outter lips to their cervix and if you're anywhere over 7.5", it's quite easy to "bottom out" during vigourous sex.

Myself (and I am not just saying this) being 8.5" have a whole world of troubles in bed that you cannot imagine:

1. My fiancee can't fit it in her mouth -- therefore I get oral sex at birthdays and Christmas only.
2. There's no such thing as a spontaneous "quickie". She has to be so wet for me to even enter her that foreplay can take up to a half and hour. Sometimes it's her that wants a quickie too!
3. There's no marathon sex -- by round three, she's so sore she's starting to go "ouch, ouch, ouch" instead of "oh, oh, oh."
4. Unbeknowst to most men -- the vagina actually gets longer when women are aroused so unless she's 100% ready for me, I will bottom out, guaranteed.

I'm not trying to brag. I actually think 7" is a very healthy and ideal length. I can also attest to the fact that size does not a good lover make. Communication and experimentation is the key to good sex.

My dad used to say "It's not how deep you fish -- it's how you wiggle your worm."

So my advice to any of you guys who are feeling inadequate about your size -- remember me -- the guy who can't get a blowjob because he's too big.

Damn.

I beg to differ. When I get a pap smear, the doctor swabs my cervix, which doesn't jar my ovaries because it's just a swab, but it hurts like hell. Because of that, I am aware of what a bothered cervix feels like, and my man can definitely hit it in certain positions or because he's reached a certain length.
