And I make a killergood meatloaf. It's very moist and tends to fall apart. But I use Yoshida sauce or liquid smoke in it, so it wouldn't taste very good with ketchup.

Add

a little oatmeal to your meatloaf. you can not taste it but it helps it stay together. I would do anything---was that meat's song, love it!

Meatloaf. Yum. With mushroom gravy, please, and made with 3/4 very lean ground beef to 1/4 lean (yeh, right) ground pork. Mashed potatoes and salad to go along with it. Yum, again.

Texas Beef Loaf

1 and 1/2 cups finely crushed corn chips
1 cup milk
2 cups red salsa--------heat your option
1 and 1/2 lbs. groound sirloin
2 eggs beaten
2 Tbsp chopped cilantro
350 degrees for one hour
save 1 cup salsa, mix with cilantro and spoon over loaf as it bakes
==============================================Chopped Salad
1 cup each,chopped onion,tomato,cucumber,red and/ or green sweet pepper

1 cup chopped tart apple
3 to 4 Tbsp lemon juice
1/3 cup olive oil
salt or seasoned salt
pepper

mix veggies and apples, combine remaining stuff,,,,pour over apple/veggies toss....refrigerate to allow flavors to blend

eat......

I put about a half pound of cheese in the middle of mine....the meat part usually tastes suspiciously like my meatballs but i refuse to top it with ketchup, I mix something out of tomato paste, mustard, brown sugar, and whatever else I can dig up to make it taste good

Ketchup is the recluse of the weak, except on Fries and onion rings


Meatloaf with mashed potatoes is the real all-American meal, but no gravy on them, just a lot of butter
