Umm... depends on why you want to know. There is the BBT (Body Basal Temperature) method and the sticks akin to pregnancy tests that can tell you. But you typically use those methods when you are trying to get pregnant as they take time and consistent monitoring.

Have you asked her if she can tell? Some women (myself included) have something called "mittelschmerz" - they actually have pain with ovulation.

Others know just because they get super horny.

Of note: predicting ovulation can help a couple get pregnant, but it is a notoriously poor way of preventing pregnancy.

Intact male dogs seem to be capable of telling by scent if human women are ovulating; dunno how you'd ask one to let you know, though.

take the median

of the days between end of her period and the beginging of the next and the 3 days in the middle will give you the best chance of pregnancy if you do it once each of those days try say the "wheelbarrow" position and after comming hold her there in that position for a few minutes and walllla!!!

My wife tracks her ovulation somehow. She has a little calendar/app thing on her phone. She knows when she is ovulating. I know what days she is going to be a bitch.

She used to take her temperature, but I don't know if she still does.

This is a little off topic, but we have found that every month when she is ovulating, my sex drive is off the charts. I grope her in the night. She's noticeably more attractive to me. I mean, she's always attractive to me, but during that time she looks different to me. And when she is farthest away from her ovulation, we have sex the least. It's kind of crazy how that works.

I think that is super interesting. It is just a reminder how biology underwrites so much of our behavior!
