Starts a week before thanksgiving and ends Jan 2, for us.
Stress, clutter, missed expectations
Random acts of kindness
Trying to make others happy
Grateful to make various donations
Work parties, trips to the stores
Patience and assistance
Merry Christmas
And let's make it a good new year

How do I handle it, lots of intoxication. Ha ha

with an open heart....its a hard time for so many, loved ones have been taken from families...jobs have been lost, celebration is not on the minds with some families grieving....but we must hold our heads up, we must move forward....So get into the holiday spirit and celebrate life because tomorrow is never promised...you must live everyday to the fullest. Merry Christmas everyone..Happy Holidays...

Happy new year!

My mom and I are going to see my aunt, uncle, and cousins for Christmas. My aunt and uncle are bigoted and often say shitty things. I'm excited to see my cousins, though! Also, it's nice to be off of work for a few days.

What holidays? I know of no holidays.

Ok, so I change my Lit avatar, profile, and sig for those that are into such things. And I post twelve days of Christmas stories recorded a few years ago (when I could still speak relatively easy) for those into such things.

But, other than that, it's really just another day living alone and seeing no one. I don't typically even remember what day it is until (and unless) someone I hardly hear from the rest of the time dings me with a call or card.

Putting up with a family gathering. Holding my wife's hand, thankful she is by my side. Trying not to think of how unbearable these events can be when you are single. Looking forward to a new year.
