How do you do money laundary in N.Y.C. without electricity

Everybody says that all the pizza shops around here (eastern Pennsylvania) are mafia fronts. There's one on every corner, so it might be true.

For every dollar of cash earned in illicit activities in the tri state area and laundered locally by organized crime, there are probably 100, maybe 1000, maybe even 10000000 dollars from "somewhere else" (a dope deal in Caracas, an arms sale in Sudan) passing electronically through the financial network headquartered here as part of the process of being laundered virtually.

Those institutions have their own backup generators and even entirely staffed and ready-to-go emergency HQs in Jersey. I've done structural work on one of those emergency HQ buildings and they had everything.

It's horrible... Where are the policemen?

You can still put money in the laundry, with or without electricity.

I have a bigger problem with kleenex than coins in the laundry myself.
