How do you delete a story?

Hi the newest chapter of my story posted today and when I looked at it I realized that the first paragraph of my "note from the author" was somehow deleted (I'm sure by me when I submitted it) well anyway the way the note now starts off actually sounds kind of rude and doesn't quiet make sense and also the biggest thing I wanted to say never made it. I just submitted an edited version but that will take 3 days to clear and by then most of my "regulars" will have read it. At this point I am thinking of just deleting and resubmitting is it possible to do that?

If you've submitted an edit, then having the story deleted works the same way. Just put - DELETE after the story title and include a note in the Notes Field.

You could also try PMing Laurel. She might be able to get it deleted for you a bit quicker. Using the method I suggested above, it'll still take the same amount of time as it would if you were submitting your story for the first time.

Explain your situation to her and she should be able to help you out.

And just another suggestion, when you resubmit the story, make sure you include a revision to your author's note that the story is just a resubmitted version of the original.
