How do you define a "bad boy"?

You know how men always complain that the bad guys get the girls, and how us girl just keep getting attracted to the "bad boys" out there.

What constitutes a "bad boy"? Can one teach a normal Mr Nice guy to turn bad?

Bad boys are way overrated, mostly the stuff of fantasy. Look at the people on here. The most sexually mature people seem to be the nicest, open, communicative, respectful, vulnerable, intelligent.

Stay a nice guy and you can pretend to be a bad boy in bed if you want. Thugs and bad boys in real life are going nowhere, fast. They seem to appeal to the least mature women and the ones with no self respect.

Well, as one of the nice guys who feels perpetually outclassed by the bad boys, I'd just wanted to say that it's extremely reassuring to hear this. Sometimes I have to wonder if I've chosen the right career track. It's good to get support like this.

The bad boy is the guy who is always dating several girls at once. His job makes him a lot of money - but may be a bit shady. He's adorable, charming, a real sweet talker. He's got a fast car or motorcyle, a boat, or someother kind of fun big boy toys. He bucks convention whenever possible. He's sexy and he knows it.

Sounds like so much fun! Unfortunately he can see your weakness and how to take advantage of it at a glance. He's a user, he's selfish, he has a giant ego. Fun to play here when you're young - do NOT marry this guy!

If you've got a Mr. Nice - don't change him - you just need to get him confident enough to be 'bad' when you want it! (in bed!lol) Try a little role playing - you get to be the lonely housewife - he can be the oversexed tv repair man (or whatever else your little minds can come up with) costumes are fun and really help (who can resist a french maid?) Or buy a toy or two? Maybe just watch a dirty movie together. There's TONS of ideas on this forum.

You don't need to be an all the way bad boy.... but a little edge is good. I think its mainly about attitude - you can be a little crazy without being unsafe. Show a girl that you know how to party and that you have a sense of humor about yourself. A lot of guys see how girls act with female friends and try to emulate that - NOT a good idea. We already have female friends who act a certain way. Remember that you're supposed to give a woman a fabulous time - but you wouldn't be doing it if YOU didn't have fun too.
