How do they Boycott? Let us count the ways.

I'm waiting for when one of them starts a brand that openly advertises against non straight people.

And?

This thread makes me wonder if, in your world, people are required to patronize companies whose social dealings they don't agree with. You know, that free speech thing you're always yapping about. Apparently it only applies to your favored people and not everyone.

There's a difference between making a choice for your patronage and actively recruiting large numbers of people to agree with you to do the same.

This isn't as much capitalism as it is activism.

It's simple, they vote with their money. The most incorruptible voting process.

That would be crazy. Like someone trying to shut down the major business in the state of which they are governor because they don't like their social dealings and hiring policy.

I wonder how many Pottery Barn shoppers think of the company in political terms. Chic fi A, Hobby Lobby, and Cracker Barrel are recognized as having conservative ownership and/or management, just like companies like Nike, Levis, and Disney are recognized for outspoken liberal viewpoints. But Pottery Barn? The Newsweek story references a 2017 NBC story that referenced a report from something called Hitwire that reports what appears to be a possible correlation between conservatives and brands they purchase online, but no other details.

If you're trying to say something I suggest spitting out the marbles you have in your mouth and trying again. Especially since Gov Hairgel shut down almost every business in Ca during Covid.

Bud Light

MAGA Throwing Out Garth Brooks' Music Over Bud Light Support: 'Never Again'

The country music star said he would stock Bud Light in his new bar despite the backlash over the brand's partnership with a transgender influencer.

When you decide to go all in on one side of a political dogfight when starting a new business venture, you have to expect that the other side isn't going to like you very much. All you can do is hope the side you favor likes you enough to carry both sides.

Which seems like a stupid business plan.

Geez Louise…
You just described what EVERY governor did, as you clearly specified, during Covid.
You, everyone, knows what the insinuation Bray123 meant…
Oh, nevermind, continue on with your frequent take to disrail the convo.

It’s now not the Covid crisis and this clearly seems that you’re arguing what Bray123 was saying, but that the one side offended here is not a political viewpoint but Disney itself. Seems like a stupid business plan to threaten your number one industry and cost your taxpayers billions.

Its all getting very stupid. Look if you decide you don't want to believe in something, or not buy someone's products or services, then don't. But every business has the right to support whatever cause they choose. They do not deserve to be driven into bankruptcy because you disagree with them. Who they support does not destroy their product viability so why would you let a political or social stance make you stop using it?

Its time to stop this insanity.

I’ll bite on this, what liberal views do Nike, Levi’s and Disney have?

And what do you do when the business does things in the name of political correctness which places their customers at risk? Such as a "women's only" spa now being required by the court to allow transgenders into the spa.

Do you as a woman continue to go there even though the "product" hasn't changed?

Or do you find somewhere else to go?

Reread the second sentence of my post. I believe you will answer your own question.

That bar/restaurant that went viral for telling people to get out because of Bud & Dylan to pleading for people to come back after losing money. I don’t recall the name or if they are still in business.
